Luxe 67th Floor 2BR w/ Ocean View | Pool/Spa & Gym

If hygiene, cleanliness and a good stay are important to you, this isn’t the accommodation you’re looking for. Positive: Location was good. Pool looked nice but too busy reporting property issues to enjoy it. Negative: Unhygienic bedding, dirty and broken appliances. Slow and useless responses from property manager to rectify significant issues. Duvet came uncovered in both bedrooms. Urine on toilet rim and around base of toilet. Filthy toothbrush holder. Many things were unclean including the microwave, couch and cushions. Washer/dryer didn’t work. My daughter and I were locked out of the property in the freezing cold for an hour because the property manager hadn’t communicated check in details.

Negative: Dirty Condom on bedroom floor … 🤯

Fantastic view and location. Apartment fairly basic. Positive: The view was fantastic - you can see across Docklands, Marvel Stadium, etc - very picturesque, especially at night. The location was also perfect for us - being across from Southern Cross Station, it was easy for airport transfers, coach trips, and trams as well as being in close walking distance to coffee shops, supermarket and shopping areas. The gym and pool area were very good quality and easy to access. Negative: Key issues for us were: 1. The taps in the bathroom were falling off (we let the owner know, so hopefully this will be rectified). 2. The sofa (which was the 3rd bed) was badly stained, had no bedding (we had to buy bedding) and was very hard and too short for our teenager. 3. The master bed only had a light quilt and the heat pumps were not working well so we had to purchase a blanket during our stay (winter in Melbourne is a bit cold!) Overall it worked fine for our family holiday however, we feel it is important to note that the actual apartment and its furnishings are fairly basic.

We will be suing both the owner and booking.com to recover a full refund. Positive: The location and the views but that was it for us Negative: Minimal contact from owner Changed booking details at the last minute Broken taps in bathroom Blood stain on the sheet and stains on just about everything else 2 of our group had to sleep in their clothes because bedding wasn’t provided- one on a sofa bed the other on a single airbed.

bad experience, good location Positive: Location is right outside the southern cross station. Sauna and pool facility on level 7 is good. Negative: Check in time should be 3pm, but the apartment has not finish housekeeping until 4pm. We were waiting with a tired crying baby outside to get the keys. when we enter the apartment, the aparment is still messy and cleaner still there (attached photo). Bathroom tap is broken, I sent message to the host at 4:44pm, no response until I chase up again next day 6:09pm. Baby cot was requested prior to booking but telling me they didnt receive the message.
