It was unprofessional
Positive: I liked the location and the view
Negative: This was so unprofessional, we had to wait so long to check in due to cleaners but when we got to the apartment it was disgusting, dishes weren’t washed properly, sheets were dirty, hair all over the bathrooms, the floors dirty and sticky and there was like nothing left, no dishwashing soap, no shampoo and conditioner and no laundry soap

Positive: Location was great. Very central to the Melbourne CBD.
Negative: Check in process was clunky - in order to check in we needed to prefill in our ID and pay either a $400 refundable deposit or a $74.50 non-refundable wear and tear fee. We went for the wear and tear fee as other reviewers have stated that they have been unable to obtain their refund), but overall the assumption is that this money from the previous bookings should be attributed to actually cleaning the property.
We could check in from 3pm, but the link to provide check in instructions did not update to provide these instructions until at least 3:30PM. The phone number associated with this property did not answer to provide any customer service.
The cleanliness of the property was terrible.
There were stains on the carpet, walls and on the blinds.
The shower had mould.
The kitchen was coated in grease.
What I can only assume was the previous bookings' sheets were in a bag in a cupboard and they had blood on them.
When we raised our concerns with the property, we received no meaningful response, despite providing photos of the condition of the property upon check in. The first response we received was a cookie cutter email stating that they 'aim for a 5 star experience' and that if there are any issues to contact them, despite us already having contacted them. We received a contact from Booking.com and then provided the photos again through this method. Again no response. The last email we received was an automated check out email providing steps on how to check out, but no real response to the issues provided by us about the condition of the property.

I had to refer to Oppulent Stays and Booking.com with two different instructions on how to check
Positive: I loved the location and pool. I loved the view.
Negative: I didnt like how we had to pay $400 as a bond and still no refund. The contact number of the property cannot be reached. We had a hard time checking in. I am still confused about our bond not being refunded.

Get new cleaners!! Shower and carpets need a good clean! The quilts between two sheets had stains!!
Positive: I would have appreciated an actual message from someone rather than just receiving the same link over and over. I didn’t know that I needed to do anything else, just thought I kept getting sent the link!
Negative: Put actual wording in the messages! I was getting emails from booking.com, 180 degrees city views AND Opulent about the accommodation!! Was way too much!!

DONT STAY HERE !! NIGHTMARE
Positive: Nothing - sooooo bad. Dont stay here. Coffee stains flicked over blinds and the front door locked failed first night. We could not get in. Owner and locksmith then arguses over cost! $800 -$300 quoted. Finally got in at midnight. Then left first thing next day. Requested money back and only got half !! Should have got 75%. Booking.com involved. Don’t stay here - and avoid others units in complex
Negative: Everything - very poor service by the responsible owner.
So rude. Swore and argued in front of us.
